Transactions
Transactions may be made each week but must be received by the Home Office by 8PM the night before each tournament begins. There are 2 types of transactions:
1. Waiver Wire: You may drop a player from your roster, and pick up an available player who is not on a roster. You must make a bid for the desired player, and the highest bidder will be awarded that player. In the case of a tie, Commissioner Buster will inform each Captain & new bids may be given until there is a winner. Any Captain who is out-bid will have the opportunity to bid on another available player. The minimum bid is $3.00 and may increase in .25 increments. There will not be a limit on the number of waiver wire transactions a single team can bid on each week or for the entire season. Waiver wire activity is welcomed and encouraged until the end of the season.
*Tough Luck clause - In the event of a major injury to a 1st round draft pick the Team Captain may replace that player at no charge and retain 1st rights to that player. However, the injured player must be out a minimum of 8 weeks from the time his Captain declares him injured. If the player returns before the 9th week, he may then be signed by the highest bidding team. If he returns at any time after the 8th week, the original Team Captain may re-sign the player, if he wishes, for the minimum bid of $3.00. If he no longer wants the player, then the player is a free agent available to the highest bidder. This process may only be
used once per season per team. If the same player is dropped a second time after this process has been completed, he may be signed at any time by another team with the highest bid.
2. Trading: You may negotiate a trade with any other team. The number of players or draft picks is not limited, but must be player for player, draft pick for draft pick. Cost is $3.00 per player/draft pick, per team. The deadline for trading is the week prior to the British Open.
3. LIV players may be "rented" the week of the 4 majors. 1 player per team will be awarded to the highest bidder and the player who is dropped may return to the team the following week at no charge.
*LIV players clause - If a PGA Tour player that was drafted on a roster defects to LIV, that team may bid on and pick up another player on the waiver wire and maintain full rights to the LIV player for all of the majors. A player from that team must be dropped for that major week and can be returned to the roster free of charge the following week. The team is still able to “rent” one other LIV player for that major. If the team does not want to activate their LIV player for a major event, then that player is forfeited for the rest of the majors and is available to be “rented” by the highest bidder.)
There is a $30.00 minimum total for transactions per team each year. You must contact the Commissioner to secure your bids and/or trade details.
All funds collected throughout the season will go towards the End of Year Gig, which will be hosted by the team finishing in last place!
